महागाईने होरपळणाऱ्या सर्वसामान्यांना दिवाळीच्या मुहूर्तावर शिंदे सरकार झटका देण्याची तयारी करत आहे. शिंदे आणि फडणवीस सरकार पुन्हा एकदा वीज दरवाढीने सर्वसामान्य ग्राहकांना धक्का देणार आहे. वीज नियामक आयोगाने विजेच्या इंधन समायोजन शुल्काच्या दरात वाढ करण्यास मान्यता दिली असून आता दरवाढ अटळ आहे.
राज्यातील जनतेला पुन्हा वीज दरवाढीचा शॉक लागण्याची शक्यता आहे. गुरुवारी झालेल्या बैठकीत वीज नियामक आयोगाने वीज वितरण कंपनी महावितरणला वीज दरवाढ प्रस्तावित करण्याचे निर्देश दिले. तर महावितरणने वीजदर वाढवल्याने कंपनीचे आर्थिक नुकसान होत असल्याचे कारण देत आहे. मात्र या नावाने महावितरण आधीच ग्राहकांकडून इंधन समायोजन शुल्क आकारत आहे.
कृषी क्षेत्रातून महावितरणला ४५ हजार ७०० कोटी रुपये येणे बाकी आहे. पथदिव्यांसाठी ६ हजार ५०० कोटी, पाणीपुरवठ्यासाठी १८०० कोटी आणि घरगुती वीज वापरकर्त्यांकडून १९०० कोटी थकीत आहेत. औद्योगिक क्षेत्रातील ७५० कोटींची थकबाकी अजूनही आहे. त्यामुळे ही थकबाकी वसूल करण्यासाठी महावितरणने गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून दरवाढ करण्याची तयारी केली आहे.
राज्यात वीज दरात १० ते २० टक्के वाढ करण्याचा निर्णय शिंदे सरकारने यापूर्वीच घेतला आहे. लवकरच दरवाढ होणे जवळपास निश्चित आहे. वीज खरेदी खर्चात वाढ करण्यासाठी महावितरणने १५०० कोटी रुपये राखीव ठेवले होते. तो निधी २०२१ मध्येच संपला आहे.
त्यामुळे महावितरणने १ एप्रिल २०२२ पासून वाढीव खरेदीसाठी इंधन समायोजन शुल्क आकारण्यास सुरुवात केली. सध्या हे शुल्क प्रति युनिट १.३० रुपये आहे. आता पुढील महिन्यात महावितरण ६० ते ७० पैशांनी वाढणार आहे. त्यामुळे इंधन शुल्काचा दर २ रुपयांपेक्षा जास्त असण्याची शक्यता आहे.
