मिलन शाह, पुणे : मुंबई बंगलोर महामार्गावर नवीन कात्रज बोगद्याजवळ आज पहाटेच्या सुमारास दोन ट्रकच्या झालेल्या अपघातात दोघांचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला तर दोघे जण जखमी झाले आहेत. आज पहाटे साडेपाच वाजण्याच्या सुमारास हा अपघात झाला.
याप्रकरणी अधिक माहिती अशी की, पहाटे साडेपाच वाजण्याच्या सुमारास नरे गावातील सेल्फी पॉइंट जवळ मालवाहतूक करणाऱ्या एका ट्रकला दुसऱ्या ट्रकने धडक दिली. हा अपघात इतका भीषण होता की यातील एका ट्रकचा संपूर्णपणे चेंदामेंदा झाला आहे. ट्रकच्या केबिनमध्ये चालकासह तिघे जण अडकून पडले होते.
त्यानंतर अग्नीश्मन दलाचे जवान आणि पोलिसांनी घटनास्थळी धाव घेत क्रेनच्या सहाय्याने केबिन मध्ये अडकलेल्या नागरिकांना बाहेर काढले. यातील दोघांचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला होता तर दोघे जखमी झाले होते. या सर्वांना ससून रुग्णालयात पाठवण्यात आले.
अपघातानंतर पुणे बंगळूर महामार्गावर काही काळासाठी वाहतुकीची कोंडी झाली होती. त्यानंतर पोलिसांनी क्रेनच्या सहाय्याने अपघातग्रस्त वाहने रस्त्याच्या बाजूला काढली आणि त्यानंतर हळूहळू वाहतूक पूर्ववत सुरू झाली.
दरम्यान पुणे-बंगलोर महामार्गावर अपघातांची मालिका मागील काही दिवसांपासून सातत्याने सुरु आहे. नवीन कात्रज बोगदा पार केल्यानंतर पुण्याच्या दिशेने जाताना तीव्र स्वरूपाचा उतार आहे. त्यामुळे मालवाहतूक करणारी वाहने यांना ब्रेक लावणे शक्य होत नाही. मालवाहतूक वाहनांचा ब्रेक फेल झाल्यामुळे याआधीही या परिसरात अपघात होऊन अनेकांना जीव गमवावा लागला आहे.
